The variable speed control ranges from 8,000 to 12,000 OPM, allowing you to adjust the speed to fit the task. Its low-profile design lets you get close to the surface for more accurate sanding.

Changing sandpaper is quick and simple thanks to the replaceable 8-hole hook-and-loop pad (DW64233). The dust-sealed switch helps protect the tool from dust buildup, extending its life, while the rubberized grip adds comfort during use.

It comes with a one-handed locking dust bag, and the dust port is ready to connect directly to DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors (sold separately). If you're using a vacuum with a 1-1/4 in. hose, you can connect it with the DWV9000 universal quick connector (also sold separately).

The DW4388 pad, made of durable rubber, is designed for sanders with dust collection and makes it easy to switch between grits when needed.
